We are looking for outstanding candidates like you to join our team as an Accounting Manager.

This role is fundamental to our business in delivering efficient and accurate turnaround times for our clients whilst also developing and encouraging the team to share in that focus. The aim is to deliver to internal targets which help with the enhancement of client service and with emphasis in achieving these over just the statutory requirements that all businesses are asked to do.

As part of the team development, this will be sharing knowledge, identifying talent along with focus on the improvement of internal procedures.

What does the role entail?

• Working alongside our Client Portfolio Managers and Directors in delivering an efficient and friendly service in regards to compliance based work.
• Working to internal deadlines focused on enhancing service to clients with quality information.
• Managing internal workflows within your team to ensure that a balance is achieved and supported
• Working with the wider team to ensure plans are implemented and processes are continually improved.
• Reviewing both business and personal tax returns for final presentation to the Client Portfolio Managers, so reviews are at a high level and accurate.
• Identifying and implementing required tax reporting for clients to cover taxes such as VAT, CIS and P11D.

This role is a great step for an accountant who has experience of preparing accounts within a team and looking to take the step into team management. The future progression within the role will come from working closely with the senior team with the view of moving into a more client facing and advisory role.

Who are we looking for?

• Someone with an attention to detail and passion for being part of and developing their team.
• We would imagine our new team member would be fully chartered (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or qualified by experience with a track record in a practice environment.
• Detailed experience of preparing and being involved in the review of both personal and business accounts and tax planning.
• Someone who loves working with the wider team in delivering results.
